Join Our Journey as a Fractional COO

We're looking for a talented Fractional COO to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with visionary founders who are ready to take their boutique service firms to the next level. Think of yourself as their operational right hand – translating big ideas into actionable strategies and building systems that actually work. You'll help remove those frustrating bottlenecks, install proven systems, and create the accountability that drives real profitability. Together, we'll help founders focus on their unique talents while setting their businesses up for sustainable growth and eventual sale.

What You'll Do With Us

As our Fractional COO, you'll be the guide helping boutique service firm owners navigate their growth journey more smoothly and effectively. Here's what that looks like day-to-day:

Strategic Execution:

Partner with founders to develop plans that actually get implemented. You'll take their big-picture vision and turn it into concrete action steps that make sense for boutique service businesses. No more strategies that collect dust – you'll make sure the important stuff gets done.

Operational Excellence:

Roll up your sleeves and optimize how things work. You'll design systems and processes that help boutique service firms scale without the growing pains. You'll establish metrics that matter and implement tools like Professional Services Automation that make a real difference in performance.

Leadership Development:

Help build teams that can run without the founder being involved in every decision. You'll mentor emerging leaders, create clarity around roles, and foster a culture where accountability is the norm, not the exception. You might even help implement a leadership structure with roles like President that free the founder from day-to-day operations.

Client Relationship:

Become a trusted advisor to founders who need someone who "gets it." You'll help them step back from being the bottleneck, shift responsibilities to capable team members, and reclaim their time and energy for the work that truly needs their unique talents.

What Makes YOU a Great Fit
  • You've been in the COO seat (or similar senior operations role) and know the unique challenges of boutique service businesses.

  • You have a track record of building systems that actually work – ones that drive real scalability and profitability.

  • You're a natural at developing people and teams, with leadership skills that inspire others to step up.

  • You thrive in a fractional or contract capacity, able to make a big impact even when you're not there full-time.

  • You understand the "founder bottleneck" challenge and know how to solve it with practical operational improvements.

  • Bonus points if you're familiar with frameworks like the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and have applied them successfully in boutique service settings.
